Disinfection with UV technology

The disinfection of water using ultraviolet radiation is becoming more and more accepted as an efficient and environmentally friendly method in the fight against bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms. The high-energy ultraviolet radiation paralyses harmful germs in a fraction of a second. The number of germs in the water can be reliably reduced with the help of ultraviolet radiation, so that there is no need to add chemicals.

The great advantage of ultraviolet light in disinfection is that, in contrast to treatment with chemical agents, the microbes cannot develop any resistance to the radiation.
